REE interpolatorFor enhanced resolution with a digital quadrature output signal you can use the REE range of interpolators, which can increase resolution by a factor of more than 20.

Three models of REE, originally designed for use with Renishaw's range of tape scale encoders, have been validated for use with the RLE. These are REE100, REE200 and REE400.

Velocity figures are based on 75% signal strength.

Please note the REE data sheets referenced above are produced by Renishaw's optical encoder division, and hence do not contain specification data for their use with an RLE system, however they do contain operating and electrical specification data, as well as dimensional information.
