Renishaw's range of interfaces makes it easy to connect a probe to your machine's controller.

IS1-2

The IS1-2 interface selector is a fully automatic system for use on CMM installations requiring multiple sensor types.

• 4 separate output channels
• Any combination of the following Renishaw probes to be integrated into one automated system:
• • SP25M, SP80, SP600, OTP6M*, TP7M, TP2, TP6, TP20, TP200*
• Stand-alone or rack mountable interface

* These probes can be incorporated into a multiple sensor system with any one of the other probe systems specified, without the need for an IS1-2 unit.

The IS1-2 is also fully compatible with Renishaw's ACR1 and ACR3 probe exchange systems, the PH10M range of motorised heads and the PHS1 motorised servo head system using the Renishaw product interconnection system (PICS).

TP7M, SP600M, SP80 and SP25M programming modules are supplied pre-installed within the IS1-2 unit, which identifies the probe in use. The remaining modules are supplied loose and can be installed by the user. TP2, TP6, TP20, TP200 have an integral identification system and therefore do not require a module.

PI 4-2

The PI 4-2 interface is the basic interface for standard touch-trigger probes that allows for a PICS or SSR output.

• The supply voltage is automatically detected.
• The unit is usually free standing but can be rack mounted.
• Supports TP1, TP2, TP6, TP6A, TP20.

 

PI 7-2

The PI 7-2 interface is a dual purpose interface designed to process signals from the TP7M strain gauge probe and standard touch trigger probes. Special autoselecting electronics within the interface allow exchange of these probes without any changes to the interface.

It supports TP7M and TP2, TP6, TP6A and TP20 probes.

 

PI 200

A dedicated interface unit which powers and services the TP200 probe, standard touch trigger probes and up to two SCR200 stylus changing racks.

The PI 200 interface is a dual purpose interface designed to process signals from the TP200 strain gauge probe and theTP20/TP2/TP6 touch-trigger probes. Special auto-selecting electronics within the interface allow exchange of these probes without any changes to the interface.
